That's who I'm looking for. Meet my Heron Key Street Team.

This is the inner circle. The people who get the book before it's a book, and then help me shove it lovingly into the world. If you've ever finished a story you loved and immediately texted a friend YOU HAVE TO READ THIS — congratulations, you're already qualified. That's the whole skill set.

Here's what my street team gets:

📖 Advance copies. You read the book before release day, free, while everyone else is still waiting. First eyes. Front row.

🎨 Peeks nobody else gets. Cover progress, sneak scenes, "help me pick between these two" moments — you're in the room where it happens.

💬 A actual say. Torn between two titles? Two cover directions? I ask my crew. Sometimes you'll spot your own fingerprints on the finished book.

🎁 Crew-only goodies. Bonus scenes, giveaways, and first dibs on basically everything.

🥇 Bragging rights. When the book blows up and everyone's talking about it, you get to say you were here first. Insufferably. We encourage it.

And here's the only thing I ask in return: when the book's out, you help me make some noise. Leave an honest review (honest — I want the real ones, not the fake-nice ones), tell a reader who'd love it, share a cover, post on release day. Nothing scary, nothing that costs a dime. You don't have to be a Big Fancy Book Reviewer. You just have to love the story and be willing to say so out loud.
